The
Story.

From Independent Nonprofit
To NRBC Program

The Teacher Retreat began as an independent nonprofit founded by Whitney Tolliver. After experiencing firsthand the demands placed on educators, Whitney recognized that teachers were encouraged to care for everyone around them — without enough opportunities to care for themselves.

What began as a simple desire to show appreciation grew into a community committed to educator wellness, self-care, and retention. After working alongside NRBC to serve educators and strengthen local schools, The Teacher Retreat became an official program of the Natural Resource Brand Community.

“Because when educators are supported, students and communities are stronger.”
You can’t pour from an empty cup. Retreat. Refill. Return.
